System requirements to use Bell Direct

Recommended hardware	A Pentium 3 500 MHz class machine with a minimum of 256 MB of RAM. A 15" colour monitor is required, but a 17" monitor is recommended. Your monitor should support a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 or greater.
Browser	Any operating system that supports a Java enabled web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari or Google Chrome).
Software	Because WebIRESS is a web-based application, you don't need to install any software on your computer. However, you do need to have Sun Java 1.5.0_06 or above installed.
Connectivity	A 56 KB modem or above is required, but broadband is highly recommended. Before signing up, take the connection test to ensure that you can connect to the WebIRESS data feed.
Settings	Set up your network or personal firewalls to allow access to "*iress.com.au" and port 6080 or 80. For more information on firewall settings, please visit the WebIRESS security pages.
