An mFund product is an unlisted managed fund admitted through the ASX and available to investors through the mFund Settlement.
mFunds units are not directly traded on ASX, instead the investment and redemption process is facilitated by the settlement system CHESS.
Managed funds pool the money of individual investors and the combined capital is invested by a fund manager across a range of asset classes. They can include sector Managed Funds, strategy oriented Managed Funds, international Managed Funds, fixed income Managed Funds and balanced Managed Funds.
The price of units is set by the fund manager.
