How to ...
Place a trade
You can place an order online 24 hours a day, or over the phone between 8 am and 7 pm (AEST) on any trading day. (To protect your security, we do not accept orders by fax or email.) When you place an order, you need to tell us:

Quote
field, then click the magnifying glass.
Order size. The number of units or the dollar value of your order. You can place orders online up to $250,000. There is no limit for phone orders.
Preferred price. You can place either a Limit order, which is only executed if the security meets your limit price, or a Market at Limit order, which is executed as soon as possible at the best available price. Market at Limit orders can only be placed during trading hours — 10 am to 4 pm (AEST).
