Comparing ETFs is so much simpler now. It’s about ETF’ing time!

Whatever you’re looking for, there’s probably an ETF for you. You just need to find it.

Use Bell Direct’s ETF comparison filter to compare the features of the ETFs in the market.

This is only available to Bell Direct clients and not available with any other broker.

You can filter ETFs by: asset class, sector, provider and fees. And you can access price information, fact sheets and performance.

Hello, I’m Jessica Amir a market analyst with Bell Direct.

Today we’re covering how to use a Bell Direct’s Exchange Traded Fund filter or ETF filter.

The ETF filter simply enables you to easily find the right ETF for your portfolio.

Now all ETFs track a particular index and each index is made up of a different methodology, for example one of the most well-known indices is the S&P500 which tracks the largest 500 stocks on the New York Stock Exchange.

Now when buying an ETF, it’s really important to know about the index that the ETF is tracking and with over 200 ETFs listed on the ASX, there’s a lot to consider.

But Bell Direct’s ETF filter will make it much easier to sort all the ETFs based on asset class, product issuer, performance and fees.

You can then click on the ETF fact sheet, that will give you details about the index that the ETF is tracking.

You can then determine whether the ETF is right for your portfolio.

When you log into your Bell Direct account, you can find our ETF comparison filter in the ‘Quotes and News’ tab under ‘Exchange Traded Funds’.

Now here’s an example, I’m interested in

International Equities, so I would select ‘Equity’ for the asset class, in the sector I select ‘Equity North America’.

If I want to filter by a particular product issuer I can select the issuer here.

I’m selecting BlackRock who manages iShares’ ETFs.

And I’m left with a number of exposures.

One of them tracks the S&P500.

Here I can see the ASX code, price, percentage change, performance chart and fact sheet.

I also have the option to buy or sell the ETF which takes me directly to the order pad.

When I click on the performance, I can compare how the ETF is performing across different time periods against other ETFs in the same category.

I can then click on performance chart and see how that ETF is performing against all the other ETFs in the same sector.

Finally, if you want to start a new search, simply click on ‘Clear’ and start your search again.

And that’s it!

Finding ETFs is simple.

Happy trading.
